License

Every StorONE system runs against a license that determines what capacity and features are available. This chapter covers viewing your current license details and uploading a new license file — for example, after a capacity or feature entitlement change from StorONE.

Viewing license details

Using the web interface

Open Administration > License to view the currently installed license's details.

Using the CLI

license view

This command takes no parameters — it prints the details of the currently installed license.

Uploading a license

When StorONE issues you a new or updated license file, upload it here to apply it to the system.

Using the web interface

1. Open Administration > License.
2. Click Upload License.
3. Choose the license file to upload.
4. Confirm to apply it.

Using the CLI

license upload --fileToUpload=<licenseUpload>

license upload --fileToUpload "C:\licenses\storone-2026.lic"
